This cheerful day of Slovene culture in Kamnik

On Monday, December 3, 2018, we invite you to our company museums, theatres, musicians and many other cultural workers to view exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, performances, concerts and other events free of charge. On the occasion of the anniversary of Slovene poet France Prešeren this year will be especially celebrated as we celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

On the same day, the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik will open the doors of all three units: the museum in the castle Zaprice, Rudolf Maister’s Birth house and the Miha Maleš Gallery from 10 am to 6 pm. View exhibitions is free.

In the museum in the castle Zaprice we prepared two events for you:

• at 16.45: museum workshop We make jewellery from the late Bronze Age.
The workshop will be led by a restorer – Conservator Tea Kregar.

• at 17.00: Public guided tour of the new archaeological exhibition Funeral ritual in the late Bronze Age.
The secret of the grave from Toma Brejca Street in Kamnik. Public guided tour will be led by curator Janja Železnikar.
