Accessibility

The Inter-municipal Museum Kamnik has its administrative and exhibition premises in the Castle of Zaprice above Kamnik (22 kilometres from Ljubljana, 11 kilometres from Ljubljana Airport, close to Kamnik railway and bus stations). A small car park is available nearby for those coming by car.

The annexed units Miha Maleš Gallery and Gallery View are located in the centre of Kamnik, Glavni trg 2. For those coming by car, parking is available in front of the Gallery. The Gallery premises are in the first and second floors of this bourgeois house.

The annexed unit Rudolf Maister’s Birthplace is located at Šutna 23, near Šutna parish church. Next to the house there are a small number of parking places for visitors’ cars. The exhibition premises occupy a part of the ground floor of this 19th century town house.

Museum accessible to all
Accessibility to the Inter-Municipal Museum Kamnik exhibition rooms and shops are enabled for all people with special needs. Escorts have free entrance.

Accessibility for mobility disabled
Viewing is possible for mobility disabled visitors at the exhibition rooms and museum shop in Rudolf Maister’s Birthplace, Šutna 23. Viewing of the ground floor of the exhibition rooms and museum shop of Zaprice Castle Museum, Muzejska pot 3, is also possible.
