…Miha Perčič is primarily a graphic artist, but he perceives graphics as a constant experimentation and expansion of often the same motif through a series of cycles. The majority of his works are built on the simple form of the circle, which offers him countless possibilities to explore various realms of content. Recently, the artist’s preoccupation has been primarily with abstract language, which, however, speaks with a deeper meaning, especially when color merges into form. The latter plays an important role in Perčič’s work—not only visually, but also conceptually. Through it, he takes us into worlds beyond our planet, into the heart of the Milky Way, marked by the central figure, the Sun. Colored in red and yellow, it evokes feelings of warmth, awakening, and growth. Following are the other well-known cohabiting planets, each tinted with its characteristic color, into which the artist intervenes with various textural patterns created by materials such as cardboard, tape ends, and plastic objects. In this way, he creates various patterns and emphasizes the materiality of an otherwise simple, most basic form.” (from the exhibition text, author Saša Bučan)
