Granaries from Tuhinj Valley

Zaprice Castle Museum and administration
When: For indefinite time
The castle complex also uses a flat area with ethno-park; a museum in the open air with three buildings that show visitors a fast disappearing rustic building heritage, such as granaries from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Besides four granaries from Tuhinj Valley, where peasants have been storing vital products, like cereals, meat, sausages, lard, flour, tools, clothes, home-made handicraft products and hay, there are also a draying house, a crushing house for fruits and a well. In the oldest granary from 1793 there is a complete inventory preserved which can be seen by visitors.
