Žiga Korent – Parallel Worlds

Žiga Korent (1984) graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana, Department of Textile and Clothing Design (Prof. Marija Jenko). He continued his studies at the University of Vienna in the field of Cognitive Science, focusing primarily on design theory. He is active in various fields, including painting, photography, graphic design, and illustration. In 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Painting (MA) at the School of Drawing and Painting in Ljubljana, under Professor Mladen Jernejc. He regularly exhibits his work in group and solo exhibitions. At the end of 2020, two of his works were acquired for the art collection of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Novi val / New Wave. In 2025, he was invited to participate in the international project art book and exhibition @bookwith.art. He lives and works in Ljubljana with his family.
