TRZIN THROUGH THE LENS OF PETER NAGLIČ
Friday, April 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM
Center Ivan Hribar Trzin, Ljubljanska cesta 12f, 1236 Trzin
The photographer and the exhibition will be presented by Matjaž Šporar and Zora Torkar.
The exhibition will be officially opened by the Mayor of the Municipality of Trzin, Peter Ložar.
Peter Naglič (1883–1959) was a persistent and dedicated observer of his time who created an extensive photographic opus between 1900 and 1940. Although a factory owner by profession, he devoted remarkable precision, sensitivity, and discipline to photography, preserving a valuable record of places, people, and events.
The exhibition presents a selection of photographs of Trzin and its surroundings, revealing the landscape, sacred heritage, and important public events of the 1930s. Today, Naglič’s images stand as an important document of their time and a testimony to a space that has significantly changed over the decades, yet remains permanently preserved through his lens.
