Summer Museum Night at Zaprice Castle Again This Year!

The Kamnik Museum is once again joining the traditional Summer Museum Night. On Saturday, 20 June 2026, Zaprice Castle will come alive with a special evening atmosphere, offering visitors a unique experience of cultural heritage.

During the evening, visitors will be able to explore the museum collections in a different, nighttime setting and listen to fascinating stories from the past. The programme will be enriched by the opening of a new exhibition, guided tours, a creative workshop, a concert, and exhibition visits.

Summer Museum Night at Zaprice Castle is an opportunity for enjoyable socializing, discovering cultural heritage, and gaining new insights on a relaxed summer evening. Admission to all events is free of charge.

Programme:

18:00 – Opening of the exhibition LET THERE BE LIGHT – The Story of the Stele Candle-Making Family

19:00 – Family workshop: Make and Decorate a Candle

19:30 – Guided tour of the exhibition Vlasto Kopač – Velika Planina

20:15 – Concert by the music group Extra Domača Marmelada

18:00–23:00 – Exhibition visits
