Screening of the documentary film about Vlasto Kopač

to a screening of the documentary film about

VLASTO KOPAČ, on the 110th anniversary of his birth.

The film will be screened on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Domžalski Planinski Dom on Velika Planina.

Vlasto Kopač was a mountaineer, mountain rescuer, draftsman, architect, conservator, cartographer, guardian of natural and cultural heritage and much more.

The film shows his varied life path and his extensive creative oeuvre. A special part of the documentary is dedicated to the Velika Planina and Kopač’s efforts to protect the unique Velika Planina architecture, material and spiritual heritage, and the cultural landscape of the Planina.

Authors Janja Železnikar and Andreja Humar Gruden will talk about the film.

The project was financed by the Municipality of Kamnik and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
