Presentation of the book on clothing culture, the development of Gorenjska folk costumes and on the images of clothing in the Kamnik region until the Days of National Costumes and Clothing Heritage.

The book will be presented by the authors dr. Bojan Knific and dr. Marija Klobčar. The conversation with them will be led by the editor-in-chief, mag. Breda Podbrežnik-Vukmir.

“Books, the central part of which would be a detailed discussion of the golden age of a special way of dressing or. Slovenes have not had a disguise with which people primarily express their affiliation with Slovenian national pride – that is, the second half of the 19th and the first decades of the 20th century, although there has been a lot of ink on this topic on a popular, professional and scientific level. The popularly written findings are now summed up in one place, as the present work did not intend to penetrate into the depths of the phenomenon itself, but tries to draw people’s attention to its basic characteristics and to the generalities and peculiarities that marked it, ” wrote dr. Bojan Knific.

• it is obligatory to disinfect hands when entering museum and gallery premises.
