MAJDA NEŘIMA, ARCHITECT,

which will take place on Thursday, 23 April 2026, at 7:00 PM

at the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik at the Castle, Muzejska pot 3, Kamnik.

Majda Neřima, an architect from Kamnik of Czech origin, graduated in 1940 under Professor Jože Plečnik. She worked on the renovation of churches and church furnishings in the regions of Prekmurje, Upper Carniola, and Lower Carniola, as well as on the design of office interiors. Already during her studies, she designed the Neřima Villa in Kamnik. For the Franciscan Church in Kamnik, she planned a new altar of sacrifice, as well as for the church on Šutna; in Stranje, she designed the connection between the bell tower and the nave.
