Kamnik Art Walk
As part of the Kamfest 2025 festival
we invite you
to the KAMNIK ART WALK with a solo performance by ALLJA PETRIC
on Sunday, August 10, 2025
Guided tour by SAŠA BUČAN through Kamnik’s art sites (public monuments and exhibitions)
Meeting point: 7:00 PM – in front of the World War I monument at Žale, Kamnik.
We will walk past Tršar’s monument to Šutna (featuring works by I. Vavpotič and the Koželj brothers), and continue to the former Cuderman atelier and the fountain at the Main Square.
The walk includes a guided tour of an exhibition of Kamnik-based artists, the permanent collection of Miha Maleš, and concludes with the new exhibition “So Close, So Far“ featuring four Kamnik artists: Nina Koželj, Louise Winter, Oliver Pilić, and Matevž Sterle – some of whom may join us in person.
At 9:00 PM: concert by ALLJA PETRIC – Landscapes in the Poetry of Sound
(vocals, looper, flute, percussion)
In her solo performance, Allja Petric creates sonic landscapes where poetry, voice, flute, percussion, and improvisation intertwine. Using looping and natural sound textures, she invites listeners into a world where music connects with nature, silence, and inner spaces. Her work flows between improvisation and composition, offering a deep listening experience and a subtle encounter with the environment.
You are warmly invited.
