88 YEARS SINCE THE DISCOVERY OF THE MAMMOTH

LOVE, UNCONDITIONALLY?
Curated by Saša Bučan
“… In her latest cycle, the painter focuses on the dog, humanity’s oldest and most devoted companion. MAISTER’S TIME CAPSULE
The image of Rudolf Maister is often limited to that of a decisive general of a turbulent era, yet he was much more: a book collector, artist, intellectual, and guardian of historical memory. Through the careful collection of documents on pivotal events, he created an extensive archival collection – a true “time capsule” that today offers valuable insight into the period of post-imperial transition and the spirit of a revolutionary generation.

Trzin Through the Lens of Peter Naglič
Authors: Matjaž Šporar and Zora Torkar
Peter Naglič (1883–1959) created an extensive photographic oeuvre between 1900 and 1940. Although he ran a family craft business in Šmarca near Kamnik, he was devoted to photography and documenting everyday life. Since 1997, his work has been researched and presented by his grandson Matjaž Šporar. His photographs of Trzin and its surroundings from the 1930s are now a valuable historical record.
