Rudolf Maister’s Birthplace
When: 13.11.2019, from 18:00 to 19:00

The military has always been a symbol of order and discipline. In the age of bourgeoisie, the military began to attach an important role in raising public awareness of new hygiene standards and commandments and a healthy lifestyle. It has become important in the fight against progressive degeneration as a result of alcohol abuse, tobacco etc. This time, the lecturer will present ways of planned training of soldiers, which was conducted with the help of manuals, lectures and practical demonstrations. Special attention will be paid to comparing the information received by members of the various armies regarding sexuality. Outraged public reactions in Slovenia, in the wake of fears of moral collapse, have triggered campaigns to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
