Cultural Bazaar 2019

On Thursday, April 4, 2019, the 11th Cultural Bazaar will be held at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, which is traditionally designed as a form of professional training for professionals in education, culture and professional staff of the wider professional public, who can participate in their work with cultural and educational content (food, health, environment and space, sport …) and for students.

The main themes of the Cultural Bazaar 2019 are the Creativity of Young People and Contemporary Art. Participants in the training get to know all areas of cultural and artistic education (reading culture, music, film, theater, dance, cultural heritage, intermedia art …). Through creative partnerships with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Ministry of the Environment present how culture and art can creatively connect with other areas.

This year’s theme is Forest through Art and Culture, Health, Sport, Movement, Art and Technology, and Architecture and Space. Among the first are two projects of the Intermunicipal Museum of Kamnik: Classroom in nature – Onger above Trzin educational trail, prepared by the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik in cooperation with the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Natural Heritage, the Slovenian Forest Service, the TD Kanja, the Trzin Elementary School and the Trzin Municipality; and Tree Stories – live stories of the old Komenda, where the oldest protected trees and the history of their stories were presented. Also, in cooperation with the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Natural Heritage, the Slovenian Forest Service, the Komenda – Moste Elementary School and the Komenda Municipality.
