Baptism at Savica - a performance for one spectator

Following the motives of the epic-lyrical poem by France Prešeren. The performance takes place every hour from 10 am to 5 pm, and you can view it yourself, in one of the selected dates. The event lasts 40 minutes.

Baptism at Savica is the second project of this season in the theatre group TBZ, which calls into question the relationship between the performer and the viewer. For his research – on the 170th anniversary of Prešeren’s death – the author chooses an epic work Baptism at Savica, which he wants to show to his viewer by crossing the boundaries of the comfort of the performer’s body and the character of Črtomir, which falls from the position of the hero. The play is played with various genres of the theatre, from the puppet, dramatic and narrative theatre to the theatre of objects.
