Tastes of Roman cuisine

Polona Janežič will discover the secrets of Roman cuisine, appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Who ate what, how much and when? What spices, meat, side dishes, fruits and vegetables were used? You will help prepare some simple dishes. The tasting of the dish follows.

20: 30-21: 30 – workshop

Roman fashion show

Our models will present some clothes of different Roman social classes. Pavla Peterle Udovič will explain the rules of dressing in the Roman world. The fashion show will also feature children who want to dress in Roman clothes.

21: 30-22: 30 – workshop and concert

Ancient musical instruments and music

Matej Prevc and Gašper Kvartič will play melodies on musical instruments like aulus, chitara, cornu etc. In the meantime, they will recite Greek and Latin poetry.
