BARBARA JURKOVŠEK graduated in painting in 2006 and obtained her Master’s degree in 2009 from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She later continued her studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce in Italy. She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions and projects both in Slovenia and abroad (USA, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria…). Since 2009, she has been a self-employed cultural worker. Her work spans painting, sculpture, printmaking, calligraphy, and scientific illustration.
