The Kulturno umetniško društvo Tone Kranjc Kamnik joins the commemoration of the Vlasta Kopač Year 2026.

The organizers at Črnuški Dom are hosting the 13th International Fine Arts Biennale, which will take place from Wednesday, 5 August, to Saturday, 8 August 2026.

Art enthusiasts and lovers of the mountains are warmly invited to experience a unique creative event in the heart of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.

This summer, Velika Planina will once again become a vibrant meeting place for painters as we welcome you to the 13th International Fine Arts Biennale, held at Črnuški Dom. From Wednesday, 5 August, to Saturday, 8 August 2026, artists will be painting outdoors, giving visitors the opportunity to watch works of art come to life, meet the painters, and experience the creative atmosphere of this idyllic alpine setting.

A particularly rich cultural programme awaits you on Thursday, 6 August 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Alongside the exhibition of works in progress, you are invited into Črnuški Dom for an engaging presentation by Vinko Poličnik, who will guide us through the life and work of the renowned architect Vlasta Kopač.

Kopač’s visionary approach and profound respect for cultural heritage have left a lasting mark on the unique architecture of the Velika Planina shepherds’ settlement, which continues to be admired today.
