Kamfest 2026 at the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik

From 7 to 15 August 2026, the streets of Kamnik will once again come alive with KAMFEST, one of Slovenia’s largest urban festivals, taking place for the 23rd consecutive year. The festival is organized by the Priden možic Cultural Association in cooperation with its co-producers.

PUBLIC ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATION OF THE NIGHT SKY

(RAK – Astronomy Research Club of GSŠRM and Kamnik astronomers)

Before sunset, early visitors will have the opportunity to observe sunspots. As darkness falls, we will turn our telescopes towards the stars, and with a little luck, we may even spot a shooting star or a fireball meteor. Through the telescopes, we will explore nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, the Moon, and Saturn.

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to the following evening.
