As part of the Year of Vlasto Kopač, we warmly invite you to the presentation of the new collected volume

VLASTO KOPAČ – THE QUIET POWER OF CREATIVITY,

which sheds light on the life and work of Vlasto Kopač, architect, conservator, and guardian of Slovenia’s cultural heritage.

The volume features contributions by researchers and experts on Kopač’s work (Janja Železnikar, Ana Porok, Matjaž Geršič, Tina Fortič Jakopič, Primož Gašperič, Katja Šturm, Ana Katarina Ziherl, Martina Malešič, Sabina Ravnikar, Marija Klobčar, Zora Torkar, Vinko Poličnik, Saša Roškar and France Malešič), as well as a posthumously published text by his daughter, Mojca Kopač.

The publication will be presented by the editor-in-chief, Janja Železnikar, together with the contributing authors and collaborators.

The volume forms part of a joint project organized by museums and institutions throughout 2026 in honour and memory of Vlasto Kopač under the collective title: Vlasto Kopač – Creator of Space, Guardian of Heritage and Memory
