At the closing of the exhibition Into the Core, curator Saša Bučan will talk with artist Saba Skaberne. Why did she move from classical sculptural materials to creating felt objects? Does felt, as a soft substance, carry a different emotional charge compared to traditional sculptural materials? How does the craft technique of felting become a contemporary sculptural expression? How important is tactility in her artistic language? Are Indigenous cultures close to the artist? These and other topics will be discussed.
