Since the year 2000, cultural institutions across Slovenia have been celebrating the birthday of the poet France Prešeren (3 December 1800) with numerous free cultural events. On this day, museums, galleries, and other institutions open their doors and invite visitors to exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, performances, film screenings, and discussions.

On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, between 10:00 and 18:00, all permanent and temporary exhibitions in all units of the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik will be open free of charge to individual visitors.
