The motifs of the exhibited works include Mediterranean shrubbery and private swimming pools. At first glance, they offer freshness and the lightness of carefree moments, but soon we begin to wonder if there is something more behind them: desires, dreams, memories, or real events. The paintings reveal intimate moments of human lives. The presence of a human figure is not immediately visible, but we are occasionally reminded of it by objects—perhaps an airplane, perhaps drying swimwear. Or maybe someone simply forgot them…
